Welcome to the orthoVET puppy center!
Early detection & healthy growth – because the first steps count
Why is early detection so important?
The first few months of a puppy’s life are crucial for its long-term health. During this phase, the entire musculoskeletal system develops – muscles, joints and bones. Incorrect loading or deviations in gait are often invisible to the naked eye, but can lead to orthopaedic problems such as hip dysplasia (HD), elbow dysplasia (ED) or other deformities later on. Targeted early detection makes it possible to influence such developments at an early stage and prevent long-term damage.
We have been intensively involved in the development of dogs’ movement since 2007 and have continuously expanded our specialist knowledge. These many years of experience flow directly into our daily work and make us one of the leading competence centers in the field of puppy development. Our approach combines veterinary expertise with state-of-the-art kinematic analysis to objectively assess the development of puppies and initiate targeted preventive measures.

Scientific basis & technology
Evidence-based and objective
Our methods are based on current scientific studies on the movement development of puppies. With the LupoGait® system, we precisely measure 12 movement parameters that can reveal subtle deviations in gait – long before clinical symptoms appear. This objective data makes it possible to develop precise prevention strategies and respond to the individual needs of your puppy.
